Preliminary document — Riffable is in alpha and this policy evolves with the product. We aim for alignment with the LGPD (the Brazilian data protection law). In case of conflict, the Portuguese version prevails.
On social login, we receive your name, email and picture from the provider. We also store what you create on the platform (stories, riffs, votes, saved items, profile) and your preferences (theme, notifications).
To run the service: authenticate you, display your public profile (name, @handle and bio), attribute the authorship of passages, send the notifications you turn on (in-app, push and email) and improve the product.
We do not sell your data. We use providers to run the service (hosting, database, AI and email delivery), and they process the data only for those purposes. Content you publish in stories is, by nature, visible to other users.
Summary emails and browser notifications are optional and can be turned on or off at any time in Edit profile → Notifications.
You can access and correct your profile data in the app, and request the deletion of your account and associated data through the contact below.
